Alberto Cremonesi graduated in 1977 from the University of Bologna in Italy. He continued his post-graduate training in Bologna University where he obtained fellowship in cardiology in 1980 and bio-engineering in 1986. Since 1991 Alberto Cremonesi has been the Director of the Interventional Cardiovascular Unit of Maria Cecilia Hospital – GVM Care & Research, Cotignola (Italy). Since 2011 he has been appointed Chief of the Cardio-vascular Department in the same Hospital. In the last 25 years his interventional and research interest has been mainly oriented to the multilevel disease endovascular approach, in the aim to build strong interventional cardiology teams with equal experience in coronary, structural and peripheral interventions. Alberto Cremonesi was President of the Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology from 2011 to 2013. He is member of PCR main Board (Course Director of EuroPCR and of PCR Peripheral).
